NEW ORLEANS MISSION MEN’S OVERNIGHT SHELTER

Emergency shelter for men (no fee), including showers, dinner and breakfast, clothing distribution, and other services (10 p.m.-7 a.m. overnight shelter)

Intake Procedure: Tickets are distributed 7 days a week 5:30-7a.m. at the intake desk or 10-11 a.m. in the day room; walk in with picture ID & current TB card.  Intake Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 4:30-5:50 p.m.; Fri. 7-7:30 p.m.; Sat. 6:30-7 p.m.; Sun. 7-7:30 p.m.

Freeze Plan beds are available to the public.

Intake Procedure: Tickets are distributed 7 days a week 5:30-7 a.m. at the intake desk or 10-11 a.m. in the dayroom. Walk in with picture ID & current TB card. Intake Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 4:30-5:50 p.m.; Fri. 7-7:30 p.m.; Sat. 6:30-7 p.m.; Sun. 7-7:30 p.m.

**The tickets for both mission houses are first come first serve and are free. They can stay 21 days after that they cannot come back for 30 days.**

Emergency overnight shelter for men

Intake Procedure: Walk-in intake is at 4:30 daily. Morning departure is by 6:30 a.m. The first seven nights are free, and the fee is $8 thereafter or a voucher.

THE SALVATION ARMY OF GREATER NEW ORLEANS WOMEN AND CHILDREN’S EMERGENCY SHELTER

Emergency shelter for homeless women with or without children, children needing to be at least 6 weeks, female children no older than 17 years and males no older than 12 years (housing and case management for up to 3 months)

Intake Procedure: Walk-in intake is at 4:30 p.m. daily. Morning departure is at 6:30 am. IDs and current TB cards are required (after the first three day waiver). The first 7 nights are free, and the fee is $8 thereafter or a voucher. Housing and case management for women with children is up to three months.
